Meet the Long Beach Team Behind Crestview Roofing Co Long Beach
Any roofing company can hand you a stack of brochures and a handshake. We’d rather you know exactly who’s climbing the ladder, who’s answering the phone at 2 a.m. when a tree limb punches through your ridge, and who decided your flashing detail needed a second look before the underlayment went down. The crew at Crestview Roofing Co Long Beach is small by design. Every person on this page has walked a Long Beach roof, knows what the salt air does to fasteners in Naples and Belmont Shore, and works under the same written-price, 365-day rule: if it’s not done right, we make it right, in writing, at no charge. That’s not a slogan. It’s how Dylan Pace built this location since 2000.
Styles & brands we work with

Our People
Dylan Pace, Owner
Dylan founded Crestview Roofing Co Long Beach in 2000 and still walks every major repair and replacement estimate himself before a single number gets written down. He has spent 25-plus years on coastal roofing systems, which means he can tell you why a torch-down roof in Alamitos Heights ages differently than a composition shingle roof in Bixby Knolls, and why the marine layer matters for both. Dylan is the person who set the rule that every customer gets a written price before any work starts, a written guarantee on every repair, and a live trackable arrival time. When he’s not on a roof or reviewing job photos, he’s usually arguing with someone about whether the 405 or the 710 is the worse drive south of the 91. Nobody wins that argument.
Marcus T., Lead Technician
Marcus is the guy who catches what the estimate missed. He has been with the company for over a decade and is certified on manufacturer installation standards for GAF, CertainTeed, and Owens Corning systems, which means his work carries the material warranties those brands actually enforce when the installer follows their specs. Coastal roof repair is his specialty: rusted flashing at parapet walls, uplift repairs on flat roofs near the water, and tile re-bedding on older Spanish-style homes in Los Altos and Park Estates. Marcus can tell the difference between a nail pop and a nail that was driven too deep from twenty feet away, and he will absolutely walk you through the before-and-after photos of your own repair while he’s still on site. He keeps a small spiral notebook in his truck that he’s been using for nine years.
Elena R., Senior Installer
Elena runs tear-off and replacement crews and handles the logistics that determine whether your new roof goes on in three days or five. She started in residential roofing in southern California in 2008 and has installed systems from all seven major brands this company works with, including Atlas, IKO, Tamko, and Boral. On any replacement in Long Beach, Elena is accountable for the details that matter most with ocean-adjacent weather: proper underlayment overlap, correct valley sealing, and drip edge that actually directs water off the fascia instead of behind it. She is direct with homeowners about what she’s seeing and refuses to hide a problem behind a layer of felt. On weekends she restores a 1965 Ford F-100, slowly, which she says teaches patience, same as roof tear-offs near the water table in the winter.
Daniel S., Service Coordinator
Daniel is the voice on the phone when you call at midnight with water coming through the ceiling and no idea what to do first. He’s been coordinating roofing service calls for over eight years and runs the live arrival tracking for every appointment in Long Beach. Daniel is the reason you know who is coming before the truck pulls up: he sends the tech’s name, the arrival window, and updates if traffic on the 710 or PCH shifts the schedule. He also handles the digital invoices that get texted to your phone after the work is done, so you’ve got the written record before the crew has even packed the ladders. Daniel grew up in Long Beach, went to Millikan High, and keeps a photo of the Pike and the old Cyclone Racer on his desk because he says it reminds him the city has always rebuilt things properly.
One Standard, Every Job
The Relay Standard is the system this whole location runs on, and it’s not a marketing deck. It means you get a written price before any work begins, no exceptions, no change orders buried in small print. It means before-and-after photos of your repair or replacement, so you can see what was wrong, what got fixed, and what the invoice actually describes. It means a live trackable arrival time sent to your phone, so there’s no four-hour waiting window and no wondering whether anyone is coming at all. It means a digital invoice by text, every time, on every job. And it means every repair carries the 365-Day Done Right Promise: if a covered repair fails within 365 days, we fix it at no charge, including a free second visit, no negotiation, no runaround. Every person on this page works under that same rule, whether they’re on the roof, in the truck, or answering your call.
